My school wasn't about apathy but my friends and I surely were which is more than likely the reason I could care less that it's missing. However, the people who paid for the now phantom ring might.

Awesome. I need a woman who doesn't want expensive jewelry. I didn't know you really existed
Oh Jake, there are a few of us who just have too much jewelry, or in my case actually perfer picking out a few pieces themselves. Thats not to say one doesn't like other things that cost money. But the best gifts I've ever gotten from a guy have shown he actually knew something about me (some rock posters and a sketchbook).

I usually just wear my diamond studs. Not real diamonds, but I think I will get some since no one will get them for me. I should invest in some real stuff.

I always wear a bracelet too. I change them around. I was wearing gold but now it's silver. I love silver.

I used to have a necklace I wore but someone broke that and I haven't gotten a new one yet.

I never wear rings. I make pizzas for a living and they get in the way.

Come on, we know you hocked the ring to buy thongs and assorted mime-wear.

They all SAY they want the poster and sketchbook until the ring is on their fingers, and then they want more rings.

Was it weird getting used to the feel of the ring/rings? Seems to be for most guys.

And you don't want to notice one is missing right after finishing a pizza.

I like jewelry bought for me (not expensive, though, i wear silver. $20 tops! ) but i certainly don't expect it or really care. You could bring me a leaf, and i'd be like "AAAAHHH, A PRESENT!!! THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU!"
It's kind of more that someone had the sentiment to THINK of bringing you a present that is important, rather than what the present actually is. Like when you're other randomly picks up yummy food you like, or is suddenly like "wanna go (wherever you like to go)? C'mon!"
But it doesn't count if someone buys you a present cause they want it! Unless you ALSO want it, as in, you BOTH would want it.
Write these rules down, kids

Yeah, they all SAY they want a leaf, and then you put a ring on their finger & they want gold leaf.

I can't imagine sleeping with one on. That would take getting used to.
