Well I think ALL of you should stay. Maybe just take a few days off if you must, but you would be so missed around here!

^^ Carrie

Well at least stay until you write your Patty Griffin review. Seriously, I need a good laugh every once and awhile and you are a big help. Besides Stevie's tour (with all new songs ) is about to start up so there will be lots of other things to talk about.

Hopefully the moderators and I can make it right and we can all move forward.
Very well said..and I really think you are a awesome moderator ..Thank you for all you do...

I'll see you guys later. I don't want to be a part of this place anymore, quite frankly, which sucks because I really like a lot of the people here. Maybe once the new moderators are selected, I'll come back, but until then, good riddance.

And before I go, may I just point out that "moderator" stems from "moderate." Just something to keep in mind.

Things are going to be awfully dull around here without all the anarchist babies. Hope everyone will be happy.

Well, someone must FINALLY be watching out for Debbie Ann & myself.

After yesterday's 'death' of my beloved 1996 Nissan Sentra GXE (Nicknamed "The Wildlife Eradicator" for Deb's penchant of splatting large wildlife in it) it seemed we were going to be majorly FUBAR'd since we only owned that one car and had no money ($$$) saved up in the bank (Medical bills killed our life-savings).

I felt it was to the point where I would have to selloff my entire music collection to be able to pay a down payment on a used car. Usually in these situations I have MAJOR panic attacks - to the point where suicide thoughts would enter my warped mind, but I tried to stay positive and figured that after surviving March 2005, March 2007 cannot be that bad.

Well, with a little luck and some type of 'divine intervention' (Who knows ) we were able to buy a very good used car (2000 Ford Escort SE - A red, err, Maroon car - Sorry, but just like the guy in the Kurt Russell movie "Used Cars" I cannot drive a red car) for no money down, so at least we are mobile for now.

And how I didnt lose hope this time is a mystery I cannot figure out.

My mom always used to say and still does..."it always works out" - in my life it does seem that something always comes through even when things look hopeless and dark.

I'm glad you and Deb were able to get a nice used car!! That much be a huge relief for you...now hopefully you can get some relief from all your health issues!

my Mom said that too, That's why I tried to not panic too much.

But there's a good news/bad news ending to our story:

Good news: We have a car that runs and we can somewhat afford the payments - so we are not FUBAR'd (My music collection, for now, remains safe)

Bad news: Any chance of seeing Stevie Nicks/Chris 'Eye Sack" is out the window (Cant afford tickets now with a new car payment to pay)

Oh well, it's just a concert - 2-3 hours to help one escape the stress of everyday life - Not as important in the main scheme of things.

----------------------------------------
Edit: Who am I foolin' ...I'll find someway to be at that show, trust me...I am too stubborn and hardheaded to throw in the towel this early.
