Tried some sort of hip-hop dance cardio blast workout bull****. It was yet another great reminder that not only am I completely uncoordinated, I also have no rhythm and can't dance. Go me!

I went to the gym for the first time yesterday and did two miles around the track. Woo. We'll see how long it lasts.

Is it bad that after Jazzy's post at the top of the page I'm actually considering buying a thigh master?

I can't find a good thigh exercise - and my gym has no thigh machines

Really? I didn't think that really did anything for the thigh area...I already take the stairs...but not two at a time...I'll give that a try...

It does both the glutes and the thighs as you have to use your quads to climb. Touch your quad while climbing and you will feel it flex. Also, if you can do a little lunge (dropping the knee in the back to the floor) while taking two steps at a time, you will be sweating by the time you reach the top!

Which is ever so conducive to an office setting

I do squats and/or lunges on leg days...but I just miss the thigh machines at my old gym - the ones I know where targeting the thigh muscles - specifically the inner thigh area....

Perhaps I'll try that stair thing toward the end of my work day - when no one is around to care that I'm all sweaty.

Squats are a bitch, too, and you can do them right in the comfort of your own home in front of the TV. Wall sits, too. Wall sits are a thigh bitch.
