Since I just raped my savings account to do Vegas, I'll have to go easy on the travel for a while. However, I hope to see Tori Amos soon if she comes anywhere near and I'm definitely going to see Destiny's Child in July at the FedEx Forum in Memphis.

I just saw U2 last Saturday in Philadelphia...which was absolutely AMAZING!!! I just got tickets for The Rolling Stones in October, and last but certainly not least, I'm going to 2 Paul McCartney concerts. Well, that about takes care of my entire bank account for the summer!

Don't think I'll be seeing any this year

Last week I took my daughter to see Girls Aloud. That's probably it for me! Will have to make to with FM tribute bands!

I'd like to see Stevie if she comes to Texas.

I'm sure I'll see a bunch of bands coming through Austin this summer that I don't yet know about---it always happens that way.
Ted Nugent's playing at La Zona Rosa - I think it's this week??

ACL in September!

Got tickets for Alison Krauss and Union Station a few weeks ago. Third row centre.

I don't know if I'll be able to swing any more Stevie shows this year but never say never! Has anyone heard anything about Red Rocks? I searched on Google and it said it was a Stevie/Henley show. Lame! But that might not be the case anymore since it is listed as July 20 or something like that. Their tour ends way before then, doesn't it?

Don's only doing the first 10 shows - I believe what keeps happening is that the tentative Henley/Nicks shows that were on the books after June 19 (the last Henley show) are now either being cancelled or rescheduled as Stevie solo dates - either exactly, or close to, the original dates since concert treks usually follow the same path (begin north/northeast, then south, southwest, west, northwest).

Kind of a misnomer...Mike Love is the only actual "Beach Boy" in the Beach Boys these days; ok, Bruce Johnston, too. I've heard from Beach Boy fans that there are some "tribute" bands that are actually BETTER than the unit that is touring AS the Beach Boys these days. In fact, their suggestion is to keep an eye out for Al Jardine's Family & Friends Band, and see them; they're supposedly far superior to "Mike Love's traveling travesty" (their words, not mine)

Just thought I'd pass that along, if you didn't already know that stuff.
