Oh it absolutely has to be beer with pizza!

Why do so many people have such an aversion to anchovies? I don't get it!

I had a Sandwich. I was out today and bought a serving of Fries, which I'm angry with myself about, so I decided against having a meal for dinner.

I KNOW! Especially if you like beer with your pizza. That salty little piece of heaven, aka my good friend, the anchovie, is the perfect compliment to the beer!

I'm on my way to setting up a lighting rig for tonight...I think I'm going to stop and graze at Sam's Club.

^^^Not technically dinner, but sample/noshing.

I assume Costco's food is very similar to Sam's Club. While I like most of it, it's hard for me, a single guy, to eat the quantity that I have to buy. Even if it's frozen stuff, it's usually freezer burned, by the time I finish it.

I sampled some really tasty crab cakes today, and would have bought them, if I didn't have to buy 30 of them!

I do buy my wine there, however....

Someone in the kitchen got an order wrong tonight, so for my tea I got a steamed fillet of Haddock in lemon and parsley butter with vegetables (of which I only ate the carrots and cabbage).

It's an absolutely gorgeous day today(50's, and sunny!), so I'm smoking some salmon. Yummy! Just about my favorite thing that I make!

Smoked pork quesadillas!

I smoked salmon yesterday, and the coals were still red hot, so I smoked some pork for today!

I had something quite unusual but so, so good! I went out for dinner and had a kind of risotto dish with beef, chicken, mushrooms and prawns. So far so expected but instead of a creamy sauce/stock they had used a thick satay sauce with whole peanuts instead! It was lovely!

I'm not usually much on satay sauce. While I love peanuts and peanut butter, I usually find the sauce to be overpowering to the dish.

Let's take this as the exception that proves the rule of our gastronomic twindom!
