I've always thought it was "How will we feel 10 years from now"

In the context of the song, it almost works.

I remembered one that I heard wrong.. My Little Demon

My little demon's makin' me shoes
instead of
My little demon's makin' me choose

This is what sends me runnin' to the lyric sheet, I always have trouble with Lindsey and Stevie's pronunciation. Christine, not so much, though I did think she was saying "Cover your eyes, don't look at the day" in Don't Stop for a bit.

And Go Your Own Way, I thought he was saying something about thunder at first, like, "You can call it thunder, and go away"
I thought the same thing about GYOW! I thought it was "You can call it thunder on a lonely day"

It didn't make much sense, but I figured Stevie must have written it.

Yeah, half of the time, when I hear her lyrics wrong they make MORE sense to me.

Except when I first heard Sara..

"Said you'd give me light, but you never told me bout papaya."

This thread has me going back and listening to alla the songs that I had to look up lyrics for, and now I'm relearning them the wrong way.

Most of the lyrics that I mishear are just small things that vaguely resemble the actual lyrics. For instance, in Dreams, I only just now discovered it’s not “in the stillness of the memory of what you had” but rather “in the stillness of remembering.” And Gypsy, of course, gave us “she was just a witch,” which has been mentioned.

But there are times when I’ve misheard things that are not particuarly in the ball park.

Ironically enough, in Paper Doll I always hear “we were Oscar Wilde,” but only in the first verse where she sings “we were off the wall.”

I couldn’t understand much of the lyrics in Fireflies at first, though I really liked the song. Best mishearing is “what caused the threesome voice in the night” instead of “fearsome” and “divorce.”

The first time I listened to I Don’t Want to Know I heard “finally naked” instead of “finally baby.”

Angel once gave me “I still hook up, I try hard not to hook up” rather than “look up.”

And even if I know the lyrics in Big Love are “in the night so still,” I keep hearing "looking out for love in a nice hotel."

and another lyric boo-boo:

"Sisters of The Moon"

"any black willow, spider-man...."

instead of " and a black widow spider makes..."
In the next line after that, I always thought it was something about 'satin sheets' instead of 'more sound than she'.

LMAO! They secretly donate all of Stevie's chiffon to the Salvation Army when she's not looking.

But the lyric is "How will you feel twenty years from now?"

Hehehe, and she sings it with such emotion too.

Seriously, unless I'm listening to it with headphones that's exactly what I hear.

Her accent makes this way too much fun.

"Give to me your leather, take from me, my legs."

Goes well with the misheard lyric for Everywhere: "I wanna be in your underwear"

So far the best missed lyric I have heard in this thread, and I'll be laughing about forever is: Everyone stays close to the fireplace

These are all really funny.

I hope no one has said this one yet -

"Weeeeeell, I hope you make it" ... "Weeeeeell, I hope you're naked"

I knew her resentment re: the Buckingham Nicks cover was fake!
