. At 34 I feel younger than I did at 27 because I went through a lot of crap back then. The thirties are really cool. Except that 40 is looming large.

Deleting threads and posts that border on censorship (in my opinion) are not a good harbinger for the life of any forum. We are all grown up enough around here (even the Ledgies under 18 are wise enough as far as I'm concerned) to handle "baiting" or "flaming" or whatever you want to call it. There have been many instances in the past where I have seen certain people go too far and, for the most part, those affected have weathered through it. I'd rather have the forum be too challenging then not challenging at all.

Chris has been on the Ledge for years. She's an intelligent woman. She feels strongly on certain issues just as others feel stongly in their beliefs. If you frequent the ledge it doesn't take long to know how to rub certain members the wrong way.

That being said, I would hope when someone takes on the responsibility of being a moderator, they would be fair to both sides. I also feel that the explanation given as to why threads being deleted was snarky and baiting.

You raise a good point Lisa. The reason that I cannot do that is because as mods, there are some things that we are bound to discuss in private. I've said as much as I can say and would appreciate everyone letting this go. It is nothing personal against any one of you.
