I LOVE T.O. I was there for the week after Labour Day (hey, I was in Canada, so I'm going to use THAT spelling). As for Hamilton going to the friggin' dogs, that's actually ironic, as the Bulldogs' attendance doesn't look so hot. (I feel tempted to make a Sheila Copps joke, but I'll be nice.)

Sure, it gets shady in T.O. There was a double murder/suicide, or triple murder (they weren't sure) at the Delta Chelsea the day after I left T.O., which creeped me out a bit, as that's where I was staying in T.O., and it's a nice hotel.

The funniest part of the trip, for me, was ending up in the audience of Canadian Idol, where I saw Brian Mulroney and Tony Bennet AND got a packet of Kraft Dinner. They were all about the Kraft Dinner that night.

Depends on what you're looking for... I would def. not vouch for Hamilton, unless you're looking in the really upscale, Hess Village area... which you're probably not, lol. Burlington is a boring bubble, but in terms of safety, it's better than Toronto. I personally like it, esp. downtown. It's nothing like Toronto, but it has its own charm.

I haven't been anywhere else long enough to judge.

Before anybody asks, I'm a straigt guy, and a hockey fan. I was going to see Maple Leafs Gardens (to have a good cry). As it turns out, the gay neighborhood was right behind it. Well, T.O. is where the American version of "Queer As Folk" was taped, and it seemed to be a pretty vibrant community. In general, T.O. doesn't seem to be all that hung up on it.

HAHA, Mulroney! Hell of a celeb sighting. Go ahead with the Sheila joke; no one likes her anymore.

The Delta Chelsea's pretty nice. The last hotel I stayed in there was the Pantages, just across from Massey Hall. *That* is nice x1000.

^^ Michael... um, I'm tempted to say the gay life in Burlington is not so hot. I have no idea. lol. Toronto's good for that sort of thing, I think. Just google "gay Toronto"...

lol, here I am saying Toronto's this and that, and yet it seems to be the most persuasive... I could see that, though, really. If you love parties and clubs, it's the place to be.
