The travel gift looks good too - 4 or 5 different products.

I buy a lot of L'Occitane on ebay for much cheaper than retail. However, they do have great sales in the stores and online, and it will be nice to have a store to go to, so I can smell stuff before I buy it.

You are gonna go NUTS there. I've liked having the new store just down the highway at La Cantera. Sassy. You are REALLY gonna be spoiled now.

I was just wondering if anyone had ever used Patricia Wexler, philosophy, SkinCeuticals or IS Clinical?

I've been using Wexler's pink serum and it's awesome. her microdermabrasion kit is also amazing...as is her universal cleanser. I wouldn't recommend the eye cream.

I've been using philosophy's purity, hope in a tube and when hope is not enough spf and I love all of it.

I've heard a lot of good things about SkinCeuticals and IS Clinical.

as a sidenote, I just ordered a La Mer lot which includes almost everything in their line. I should have it early next week. I'm am beyond excited. mother worked hard to pay for it.

can anyone recommend a good toner with glycolic and/or hyaluronic acid?

what's the difference, btw? I heard one was good for younger skin and one for older, damaged skin.

SkinCeuticals makes some nice products - the salon where I get my facials done uses and sells their stuff. The Vitamin C serum and the daily moisturizer - Ultimate UV Defense with 30 spf are nice. When I get home tonight, I'll look at the flyer they gave me for the eye cream that is flying off the shelves. They're supposed to call me when they get re-stocked. I don't think it's SkinCeuticals though, some other brand.

Ooh, I was just thinking of starting a beauty/make-up/hair thread.

I haven't used any Philosophy products except some bath wash, which was very nice. I've heard good things about Hope in a Jar.

I've used Wexler's lip plumper. Not bad, but nothing amazing.

Found it - it's called Youth Complex by iS Clinical. It's an anti-wrinkle treatment that can be used all over the face.
