It's 1:29 in the morning and all Ledgies
are tucked away sleeping in their beds.

Where are the rockers?

NOT ME! I worked 17 hours today, doing sound for a festival(5 bands on my stage). THEN, I went to a club, and did lighting for a band.

And while I'm WORN OUT, I'm not a bit sleepy....WIRED!!!! Gonna pop an Advil PM now, and HOPE it kicks in! Nursing some red wine in the meantime(accidental Chris pun!). Watching Married With Children, on TBS.....Psycho Dad, Psycho Dad(I apologize if nobody gets the MWC reference...).

Going to try and get up for family reunion tomorrow(hour+ drive), then drive another hour+, to my friend's cookout, tomorrow night. I swear, I can fit 36 hours into a 24 hour day! Or I try to! ( I don't want to go to the family reunion, but I skipped last year, and I was "guilted" into trying to go).

Oh Hellz to the no! I've been a hyperactive kid, my whole life. I wish I knew how to relax!

Thanks. I only don't want to go now, because I've kicked ASS, working this week, and I'm a gonna look like a $2 crack whore!

Hahaha! This made me laugh. I went out for a few after quiet after work drinks and ended up getting in at 4.30 am after going to the casino when the club/bar we were in closed! After jumping up and down in a sweaty hot box to Guns 'N' Roses (this place has a brilliantly classic playilst) I ended up helping a mate win at 3 card poker. I used to be a croupier so wasn't gambling though.

Haven't had such a late finish in a long time, with it being so light on the way home. Brilliant.

This tropical storm Debby doesn't seem to want to let up. 18 ft waves reported offshore yesterday in the Tampa area and we've had a few reported tornadoes this morning along SW FL. So much for a beach day the next few days. The sun must've taken a vacation elsewhere for awhile so enjoy it.

I was really hoping Debby was going to come to Texas and dump some rain on us, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen. The Highland Lakes west of Austin are still under 50% full from last year's drought, and we haven't had any decent rain in months now. I miss my lakes!!

You guys down south east hold on and be safe with Debby getting closer.

JTIS...

I just watched Contagion. It was great

In other news, I grew a lot of chard in my garden this year. It was my intention to eat the leaves, but honestly I don't like them. They taste too much like cooked spinach.

So instead, I eat the stems. Baked, with cheese and breadcrumbs - wow - they were delicious.

Well I'm proud to say I squeezed 48 hours into 24! Woke up and showered, drove 60 miles to family reunion....then left and drove 70 miles to an evening cookout.....while heading home, a friend texted me, wanting to know if I wanted to meet for drinks.....BRAINSTORM......texted about 15 people.....we all went to my house instead, and partied like rock stars in the pool, until about 4AM.

Family and friends(no kids) are on their way over now, to swim, party, and cookout.....

I'll get plenty of rest, when I'm dead!!! But lunch will be a bloody mary, while floating around.
