I think it's great how Californians refer to Northern Cali and southern...as if California were its own country. In many ways, it really is. I lived in Canoga Park (LA) with my pop for a year back in 97'...it was weird out there. Been to San Diego for 2 weeks on vacay before and I loved it.

That town does sound really fun!!! I go up north to a lake in NH and I love swimming. It's never really warm though, maybe a couple of weeks mid summer. But it isn't too bad right now, and when it's hot it feels great. I was up a couple of weeks ago and swam with my little cousins, they're 9 and 10 and are so cute! We swam out to the raft and jumped and dove off of it.

Their Dad is my uncle but he is my age. My grandma had him later in life, 41 I think. The girls got a kick out of the fact that their Dad is my uncle, they were giggling. We had a blast.

Amber, I'm so glad for you that you had such a great vacation.

I personally think we should be two separate states. Where to divide would be a bit tricky though.

Maybe divide up in Santa Barbara? Of course, So. California would keep it. Then we'd have ALL the good cities.

...And No. California can have Bakersfield too.
