But I try and respect that.

I have worked as a barista, but the dynamics of that are totally different as customers come and go relatively quickly and I don't have to keep checking up on them. I actually like the food service industry, but it's unlikely I'd be cut out for full-on table service.

What changed from the first 10 years to the last 7, out of curiosity?
Speaking of hairdressing. My mom was in the hairdressing biz for 20 years and end up getting a degree in teaching and taught hairdressing and beauticulture at a state trade school for about 20 years.

That was nice of you Viv.

To bad other people dont do that and act like idiots and hurt peoples feelings.

If somebody served me with great attitude and complete with their service.
I will give them a complement .

If they act like a Ahole like a Walmart cashier did to me last week.I'll walk away.

Fortunately, we live several hours away from the directly affected areas, so the worst thing that happened is my currently fluctuating internet connection. The damage is nothing like I've ever seen before. People are in desperate need of food, clothing and water, but it's hard to reach them because there's debris everywhere. Not just debris but dead bodies. Many of the towns are practically ghost towns. Unfortunately there's another typhoon coming in the same places ravaged by Haiyan/Yolanda (as we call it here). Let's keep them in our thoughts and our prayers.

Here is a link to organizations that offer assistance:

I'm glad to hear from you.I was thinking of you as the typhoon was heading to your country.

Okay, I'm kind of hyperactive, and love going as fast as I can, doing anything("like I'm killing snakes", as my Mom would've said). And this was at the 3rd busiest McD's in our state. They'd put me on the "singles grill", and I would just be greased(pun) lightning. I LOVE moving like that. Just as fast, and organized, as is humanly possible.

I just took a trip down memory lane and watched one of the youtube videos of Christine joining the rest of the band to perform Don't Stop in London. She has just got to rejoin this band. I'd hate to think that was just a 2 night deal and that's all.

I almost didn't watch those performances... I waited weeks after London, and finally caved and watched them once. I just don't want to be teased at the thought of her returning to Fleetwood Mac, then it not happen.

So sorry that I've been MIA for about a month (last time I logged in was in October) but I've recently started a new job at a huge corporation as a Metadata Assistant and it's been pretty intense the first month that I've been there. I was at one location for the first couple of weeks and then transferred to another indefinitely.

I kind of miss being at the first location only because I liked the people there and it was a much shorter commute than it is now. Currently, I have to drive 1.5 hours (sometimes 2 on the way back) to get there. I've had to buy gas every week. I could take the toll roads but I live in Illinois and don't have an I-Pass (those transponder thingies people have on their windshields for open road tolling), plus I would have to pay 4-6 tolls per day for going there and back. And it's a Monday-Friday, 9-5pm type job and I don't know if I really want to do that. So, I have my own way of going there and back and have been changing it up recently just to see if I could cut down my commute time.

I just hope this works out in the long run because as of right now it's a temp job and even though it pays well, I really don't know what my situation is come December 31st. Either, I will be staying on there and getting moved to a different project or I will have to look for another job.

^^^I'm sorry, but that is the funniest avatar, EVER. I've laughed aloud for the past week, every time I see it.

As long as they don't sing Reconsider Me, I'll be fine with it.

Yes you are right. Also the producers got to give them more time to rehearse the tune.

I'll review the AMA's tomorrow.
