Well, you kind of might have to. Not seven days, but maybe six. I used to do that regularly to get real results (5-7 days, 1 hour cardio, 1/2 hr. weights). And when my friend upped her cardio to one hour she got results too.
So, you know, start training!!!

Cardio is your friend when it comes to weight loss, esp. 30 minutes or more. I do 45 a day on the stairmaster and then do aerobics for an hour or ride the bike or Precor machine for an additional 45 minutes. I get not everyone can or will do that though and thank goodness for my Ipod

Oh put in the flex points - they're important!!

and I don't have a point range - it's 22. that's it. And the flex - and you can add more w/ exercise - but generally I don't.

Strand - I started doing both of these moves (and more) a few weeks ago after I saw them in Redbook. But, not daily. So I will try your method.

^^^
I just weighed and have lost 3 more pounds. I think that incorporating running 5 mins, walking 3 for a total of about 40 mins or a little over 2 miles at least 4 times a week has given me an edge. I've lost 17 pounds so far (since beginning of June). I just might make my Xmas goal. yay!

Yeah, I know I have to up my cardio to 45 min but how DO you find the time? I guess it is a matter of how much does it mean to you. Stupid waistline.

Did you feel sore in your chest, a$$, and quads the day after the first time you did them? If not, then you need more reps. Or, do three sets of 25 or more each time for 75 or more in the morning, 75 or more at noon, and 75 or more at night.

Your body will lose weight if you make it expend more energy than the food you eat can supply.

Oh definitely. It was good sore, the "my muscles were working" kind, not the "I can't move" kind.

So, if I have a max daily point total of 25, then drop it to 20 but know I have 35 flex points to use every week as I choose? Is that right?

Well - you can't possibly be big enough to have a max daily points of 25 - you'd have to be like over 190. So from the weight group I'm guessing you're in the max points is 22.

So yeah - daily point intake of 22 - then 35 flex points to use throughout the week.

I'm not getting all my flex points in - the weight loss has been slow - and they're telling me that's why So that's why they've suggested a few days of more points then a few days of just the 22. Sigh.

In the end it comes down to what works for you. But a plateau is so frustrating....so good luck! I'm sure you'll get over it
