Not having the album already (or a release date for it) is enough to pull my hair out about now. I don't care what they do in 2016. As long as I'm upset in the present, going crazy about it in the present feels apropros. Saying, "well I won't think about it now, everything will turn out all right in the end ..." That's not helpful. I don't care about the end.

I really want to hear those new Christine/Lindsey collaborations. Their collaborations tend to be my favorites.

AMEN. Give us Tango II. Let the idiot "contribute" a couple crappy demos(or covers) at the end. History tends to repeat itself...

Amen. Those two have a hard work ethic when it comes to FMac.

Old enough to qualify? Huh?

In Australia, Medicare covers everyone. We pay for universal health care through our taxes. There is a 2% Medicare levy for people earning more than $24167 p.a.

Why are you Americans so scared of socialised health care? It has worked really well in the UK (NHS) and in Australia (Medicare).

I can go to any public hospital and receive free treatment. I can go to a bulk-billing GP and receive free treatment.

It occurred to me that maybe Stevie has writer's block. Perhaps she doesn't want to say she's on board for a new album until she has some new songs (not more songs from the vault) prepared.

The Mac is having so much fun on this tour. Let them enjoy this moment. They may or may not tour again but if they do it would never be as extensive as this one. There is a HUGE demand for them and let them feed the demand while having fun.
This is a magical moment for them. I hope it never ends. I NEVER thought I would hear Chris's magical voice fill an arena again. I want that magic all over the world!

Also, I agree with whoever it was here on the Ledge that said that "we" the ledgies probably make up the majority of people who are having fits about this new album drama.
Most people probably don't care about new music from FM and that sucks. It only makes sense that they are going to milk this tour for all of the money that they can EARN. They are staring retirement in the face, and they all have loved ones that they want to take care of financially, I'm sure. I wish we could have a new FM album and a tour and Stevie solo and Lindsey solo and a Buckingham/Nicks tour too, but that's probably not in the cards. Time isn't on our(their) side.

For Medicare, you have to be 65 and have to have paid into the system. We also have Medi-Cal in California, but since John moved to Hawaii, I don't know if that is available to him.

At any rate, John probably didn't have to pay most of his medical costs out of his own pocket.

the energy of the songs changes after they sit around on a shelf for a while…. I want to hear whatever they've recorded now while they are still genuinely excited about them and not later when they are just 'selling' them.

I think so and so do the writers feelings about a song, the enthusiasm wanes. Because that excitement to be a little contagious, I want to feel it while it's hot. I never wanted the rest of Lindsey's EP songs anyway. They were already old to me last year.

Count me in with those who are saying they want to hear the Christine/Lindsey collaborations. When those two work together, magic happens.

This is also the first time the fab " 5 " are recording a new studio album since the age of the internet. We get a lot of noise that is nothing but just that.

what is noise? that they recorded 15-20 new songs and that many of them are practically complete? seem like facts, why would they make that up?

also, fans are talking to band members (Mick has constant m&gs and is asked about this a lot, for one), and transmitting info they are getting. is that also "just noise"?
