Okay, I have the whole ride thing planned. (It's fine if you can't give me a ride, of course.)
I don't know about giving you a ride, Amber. I'll have to seriously think about that.

I'm super excited because the venue in Seattle is actually a hotel too! I'll be staying literally right there! I'm going to hop an Amtrak the next day and go to Vancouver and stay a couple of days. I cannot freakin' WAIT!

My dad was a little miffed when I told him I was going to Seattle/Vancouver.

God, I've been to the Moore Theater in Seattle a million times and never realized there was a hotel on top of the theater! Let me know if you have questions or need any help while in Seattle. When are you arriving? I'm also going to Vancouver... thought about the train but I think I'll fly up.

Default Ken...

Not 100% when I'm going to fly up but maybe the day before the show so I can enjoy Seattle a bit. Then again...I may just go up that morning since I'll be gaining two hours. I can see the Space Needle, Pike Market, etc. then go to the show.

There is good public transportation in Seattle, right? I've done a little research but not a ton.

Any and all tips, recommendations, etc. are welcomed!

You bought a Phoenix ticket? I cannot understand the map. How many seats are in each section? I keep getting A-4, seat 8 and 9 or A- 7 Seat 12. I cannot find a good map. Does anyone have one for this Celebrity theatre?

Edit, nevermind. I see you just click on the damn section. Uh DUH. I love how this venue shows you how many seats have been sold. Very cool.

Well, it's been 6 years since I've been there, but the streets are alot likke San Francisco in that Seattle is a very hilly city. You'll get your excercise there, no doubt about that.

The Metro bus system is pretty good, the buses are free within the central downtown area. You can probably walk to quite a bit from where you're staying. Good restaurants, shopping, Pike Place Market, etc are only a few blocks away. We'll have to chat a bit when we get closer to November.

No, I bought a ticket for Chicago. I am confused myself between what date is which show and what map goes for what venue.

If you can, see Paul Allen's Experience Music Project museum. It's also by the space needle. I believe they call that area Seattle Center. There used to be a roller coaster and a monorail that would sometimes be operating. There are several hotels right in that area too.
