Right on. Both photos capture the same emotion. Raw feeling, in the moment, pure honesty. That is what I find so captivating about both Stevie and Janis as performers, let alone their songwriting ability. That is what carries over. The realness of who they are, or were , is what they want to portray most to their audience. They have done that, and have always stayed trued to their souls. This passion is what inspires me, and these photos really capture that,thanks for the back to back photos , perfect example.

Aha, a few friends and I made that .gif ^^^ into an emoticon for MSN, we've got loads of Stevie ones

I also just found a photo of Stevie without boots and a skirt that grazes the knee. Someone send 900 bucks my way and I'll post it.

This picture has always interested me something awful. There is just something about it that's not right. The look on Stevie's face. What she is wearing. How close those two guys are to her plus they look plain creepy. Anybody else get that kind of vibe.

If you look closely at the floor and the wall you can see that they are standing in the ladies restroom. Those guys are good looking enough to date Stevie. She likes 'em narly.
