I always liked Dixie Carter, it was surprising to me that she died at a rather young age, and had a much older husband who is still alive and well. She seemed classy and had a quiet grace about her. I think she was really a good actress, too, because it's said in her own life she was a conservative Republican, but she played a liberal tough old broad with a heart of gold to perfection on 'Designing Women'. |
