Anyway, it can not be highlighted enough. Wonder who got hold of it and supplied it to Wolfgang's Vault. Supposedly Dinky Dawson himself???? |

The recording has some strange kind of reverb echo throughout. Can this be some kind of digital watermark while a better sounding version is in the future. For a price of course.

Great stuff.
You have to remember that Wolfgang's vault have mp3 as format, so it's a compressed version of the concert. Stupid. |

Great post
Super duper, thanks for the link dude, id never heard before the beginning live, love that song.
Peter was at the height of his powers which is evident in the concert, the mac have never been better in my humble opnion. Its nice to hear peters talking voice from the time, for me really highlights that this was still an incredibly young man, barely out of his teens. great stuff but always with a tint of melancoly just like his playing. This is the blues, the real life blues |

Dinky has posted an articlw with his recollecions from that evening. It is some great reading, with nods to the sound and echo of the Roundhouse, the feeling of Klimax that particular night and a story about a phallos. There is apparently something special going on with mac and phalloses...

Peter's stage banter
Do you notice when the concert starts Peter gives the audience an opportunity to take pictures, then tells them no more for the rest of the concert? According to the Christopher Hjort book, flash photography was bothering Peter at this point. He was certainly more serious by now, with only a couple of laughs. Compare that to the Boston shows when he's having fun with the audience at times, telling stories. I guess his personality really changed after Munich, but his guitar playing was never better.
