Default What now?

It has been about five months since the tour ended. What is happening now and what can we expect over the coming months?

I hope for 24 KG 2 myself.

Well, the recent shot of Stevie with the bunny ears for Easter was taken in the studio, so that could mean she's working on the FM album or something new solo (but something in the back of my mind says this was an old photo....).

One thing that did surprise me was that Stevie got a courtesy credit on the new Charles Kelley album. I thought 24KG was her last album for Reprise? Did she reup with them? (I would think someone like Capitol would have gone after her big time!).

The only photo with bunny ears I know dates from the recording of 24KG. I am wondering if she is now just taking a long long break. There were rumours here that she actually cancelled a series of Vegas dates due to fatigue. Maybe there were no such dates or maybe there were low tickets sales

The bunny photo is a couple years old I believe.I wish she and mac would shake off Reprise and find another label that appreciate them.

She must be doing some type of clothing inventory.
If Barry's ebay account gives us any clues. Those
shawls command a considerable amount of money.

Wonder if she just ran out of room?

I think only Stevie's with Reprise.....the band is a free agent now. I could see this going either way.....there could be a major bidding war for the last Fleetwood Mac album, particularly if it's really, really good, which Mick would love!

On the other hand, I could see them resigning with Warners, just because their entire catalog is there. However, after the way WB dropped the ball with "Say You Will".....I think that would be a MAJOR mistake.

unfortunately, they might have "burned bridges" with other record companies by spurning them for Warner/Reprise on SYW

I doubt anyone who was with any of the labels they might have talked to in 2002 is still with them today!

It is almost May now. I wonder if Stevie is still vacationing/resting. There is no apparent action on the FM front. No rumours of solo concerts or recording. Only silence except for the cryptic statements about Frey and Prince.

Jimmy Paxson just posted on Facebook that he saw Stevie at an "event" before he headed out on the Dixie Chicks tour. I wonder what that would have been.

(FYI, he said Stevie told him how much she adored Natalie Maines both as a singer and as a person, and Jimmy echoed her sentiments.)

I remember that was reported that she has feet problems like most people because she stands on them all day and night. My mom had issues and me probably in the few years will have to get operated of to remove bone spars. Now is the time to get rid of it before any long tours.
