ok, I'm on a posting frenzy tonight. Anyway, I'm fasinated by this demo (rich old lady) I wonder who she's singing to here? Any thoughts?

I think both are the same song with different names. I checked on the SN underground site. The lyrics are a tiny bit different, but it's the same song for the most part.

The only info I can gather is that it's from the same demo reel as Outside the Rain. I think it's about her affair with someone married, and how she feels responsible for the men in her life, like she's the old lady that feels obligated to do the right thing, even if it makes her feel frail and controlling. However, I also see it as one of her "premonition songs" like you said. I mentioned in another thread how Stevie always talks about being old, which is the subconscious way of dealing with any given fear. I had never thought of this song in that context, but I think it just supports the fact that she's always been afraid of aging.
