These Strange Times
I'm stil trying to decide if I like this song from Time or not. I pretty much know what it's about, but I'd be curious to get other's thoughts on its meaning and why Mick did it. Thank you.

Personally, while I think his intentions at the time may have been good, this song was written in some drug induced stupor. That may work for the rest of Fleetwood mac but not Mick.

I actually quite like "These Strange Times."
Of course, I also like "Lizard People." Fleetwood Mac Does Prog Rock.

He co-wrote it with Ray Kennedy. Mick plays guitar on this, which amazes me somewhat, it's not bad really. The lyrics are pretty overwrought, but it's from the heart, as I think most things are with Mick Fleetwood. It's not a favourite but I don't skip it either

I really like "These Strange Times." And I don't think it was a drug fueled song at all. It's a song of hope. His wish to find the light and get out of the darkness. Not sure where in his sobriety/recovery "Time" was. His daughter is also in it. Amy, I think.

I really like the song. I think Mick's guitar playing was great. I have to say it sounds more like a Pink Floyd song than Fleetwood Mac.
