Vanessa, I have had Twist of Fate on repeat for the past hour (instead of studying for my psychology exam), this is one of the best LB songs EVER EVER. That solo at the end is incredible. HOW HAS THIS NOT MADE AN ALBUM YET?!!?!

Is that Stevie on She Smiles Sweetly or is it Lindseys digitization of his voice? Im loving all these songs Ive never heard before. They really rock. A lot of them sound like classic 70's Rock and Roll guitar. These are really great!!

That's Lindsey's voice. Whether or not it was deliberately made to sound like Stevie... who knows. I do know that Stevie once said that if you speed up Lindsey's voice it sounds exactly like Stevie. That's how she knew what her songs were going to sound like on the album when she got back from the TISL tour, Lindsey used his own voice to sound like hers.

It is true, they do sound very similar. I love these Lindsey songs. Its like discovering a new album. I can't wait to put them on the Ipod. Shuffle Riff will definitely be in my workout playlist.

It's as danx says definately Lindseys voice, however if you listen to "Wear you Down" (stevies Riff) you will be amazed how similar they can sound when lindsey messes around with voice manipulating equipment.

Oh and here it is - "wear you down" mp3 below

In some of the songs though I hate when he does that. But when he does them live its like the manipulation wasn't even there. If these demos are any indication, then the new rocking album will kick ass!

Thanks for posting Vanessa!!!
Yeah, I hope it does, too. BECAUSE, I want to hear if the "final" version sounds as much like "Second Hand News" as the GOS track does. I guess when one is trying to write a "hit", self-plagiarism comes with the territory.

It didn't exactly work for "Countdown"...

Lots of great songs here, but a lot of the links have expired. Major bummer!
