It's a corporate nightmare. There are a lot of comp tickets, half of the audience isn't really there for the band/artist. The show is plastic and sterile with no ambiance. It's like -- pay me my money so I can run through a 75-minute set of my "hits", load of up the bus, and get out of this wasteland. |

It’s good. Very professional.
One of the unqualified joys of the original is how Christine belts that long note belieeeeeeeeeeve in the chorus—all from her chest voice. No falsetto. I’ve never heard any other singer do it half as well. |
