I was a teen when I found that album. My mom almost didn't let me get it after she saw the cover!

Worst cover ever. The back jacket photo, however, is great.

Almost all of the covers Mick has been on have been questionable. Mr. Wonderful, English Rose, HAHTF, Rumours...I don't think he can help himself

The Rumours and White Fleetwood Mac album are great covers. But yes, the three other Mick's cover appearances were misfires.

I just love this outtake back cover shot for Heroes:

I've often thought these days that photo would be barred and deemed borderline child porn.

I also often thought Mick looks rather like John Cleese here.

John Cleese is who Mick at one time said he wanted to play him in a bio-pic. Which I thought was at one point, great casting.

But, isn't Cleese much older than Mick to begin with??

Depends on which year of birth you go by for Mick (since we've seen everything from '42 to '47). Cleese was born in '39 (so if Mick was born in '42 then that would be do-able, '47, not so much, or well, I think it would work but I guess it'd just be more hours in the make up room for Mick if that was the case).

I was sceptical about Mick being born in 1947- 20 just seemed too young for him to be in 1967... but then according to Genes Reunited, which uses official data, he really was born in 1947. So that looks open and shut to me! Try it with your own details if you were born in England or Wales. Look on the link- he's the 6th entry

I can go with the '47 birthyear. Most of those British blues "kids" were in their late teens/early 20s when they started out , so Mick would've been 20 when Fleetwood Mac debuted. No dispute on this end.

Fleetwood Mac wasn't one of the groundbreakers on that end...they were actually coming in late in the game as far as the British blues scene was concerned. Hence their quick switch to more experimental music as the 70s were dawning.

Mick's own book says he was born "post-war". I mean, I know Mick's book is a bit questionable on some stuff, but you'd think he'd get his own birthdate right.
