I could not disagree more. However, I let go of the previous version and just listened intently to this version.

With my airpods and the dolby lossless stuff, I think it's far superior to the old mix.

That's not to say I don't love the other mixes. I just feel this package is very very well done.

I would not dismiss the new remixes. I only wish rhino had released the original mixes alongside the new ones, so some of the touches that are lost in the new mixes could be enjoyed. The background vocals on many of the tracks, the synth horns on Forgiveness.

That said, the remixes for Friend, You Are, and Anything are fabulous.
