Wink

what I would LIKE to see is another fleetwood mac album followed by another tour. What my gut tells me is that we probably won't see any of that. It's not about the money at a certain point...you dont make the lionshare of the money off the CD sales much anymore. It's the touring! Lindsey and Stevie can go out and get their rocks off by releasing solo albums just for the expression. Hell, thats what Christine did. Eh...who knows?

Didn't Lindsey have a 5-year plan which included another album and one more tour...?

I think solo albums for Lindsey and Stevie. Then the final Fleetwood Mac album around 2009 or so.

I think they will do another album. As for the tour, I hope it's not around 2009. As much as the Mac was fun to see, Stevie's voice is straining now, it could get much worse by then.

Default My Goodness!!!

Why is everyone thinking "final tour" and "final album?"

I think Fleetwood Mac can go on indefinately as long as it's members have the inspiration to do so. We could get an album in 2007 and 2009!!!

And who knows, perhaps Christine will return!!! (Hey, if you talk nice to her, anything is possible! LOL! )

I think it will be a mix of solo and Mac. Whichever comes first will depend on how progress is made on either one.

Thoughts?

I think we will see solo albums from Lindsey and Stevie first. I think we may see a final Mac album and tour by the end of the decade.

Amen. I don't think anything is final as of now, with the possible exception of such a lengthy & far-reaching tour.

I think a new Stevie album is next. Who knows how long Lindsey will take to perfect his this time.

These guys I met at one of the concerts had gone on the backstage tour and had talked to Chris Nicks. According to Chris, Stevie plans are to start working on a solo album around November.

There's a new interview with her in a UK paper. She said she saw the band play in England in the winter. She thought they sounded great but when she met them backstage, she said they all looked haggard. She emphasized that she never wants to play live again. She's extremely glad to be out of it all.

One of the two above. Maybe solo for Stevie and rest for Lindsey. Or maybe rest for everybody. I would expect a mac cd in 2006 or 2007. Not before.

Yeah, again the "7".
2007 would be a good year. MAybe for an album recorded in England (knock knock! Christine????)

Here's how it will go. Stevie will rest, record, release, and tour. Liddy will start working on his solo work. He will call Mick to do some percussion work. Christine will help out with harmonies. John will just be around, like always. Enters Stevie with a Spirit Catcher.....She will be tired, but excited since she wrote 4 songs...

It's 2007....They will do an album....tour...but only 40 dates, 'cuz Chris hates to tour....and Liddy will still be talking about his solo project.

Hmmm...when I was reading the Forbes Magazine blip about Fleetwood Mac, it mentioned that they signed a two album deal with Warner Brothers. Between that and the fact that Stevie and Lindsey seem to be getting along better than they ever have (otherwise we would not have gotten a 1.5 year tour! I think we will see another FM cd.
I have to think that we'll also get a Stevie solo album sometime soon. She'll probably have a bunch of new material after being on the road this long. And I have to say, as much as I am loving these Mac shows (going to my 4th this coming Friday) I wouldn't mind hearing a Stevie solo show again, so I hope that happens.

Just my thoughts...
Erin
