Which Songs Have Made You Cry?
Okay...so I'm depressed today for a few reasons so I decided for therapy I would watch The Dance, which I haven't watched since I got LIB. So...I found myself crying over a lot of the songs, and it's not the first time.
Which FM/solo songs have made you cry? Mine: -The Chain(The Dance): When they get to that solo and you just realize this was the "band" song and through all of the crap they've been through that chain is still there...it can get to me. -Gypsy: My friend moved away. I sat at my computer and listened to the long version and cried. -Sara: This song just seems to apply to every thing that happens to me. That to me is the ultimate in good music...if it can mean different things to different people. -Landslide: Well, I've been afraid of CHANGING, and I'm getting older... -Hold Me: At that guitar solo before the last chorus. I don't have a clue why but it gets to me.

Dreams: The first time I was up close at an FM concert, I just broke down. What a beautiful song, and Stevie was singing it right there!!
Landslide: It's become the anthem of my life. Silver Springs: What an emotional rollercoaster of a song dripping with bittersweet tears. |

That's funny, I cried walking to work today while listening to Insider. Just cause it was incredibly beautiful and sweeping. Usually cry if I sing Goodbye, baby. Sometimes for Storms, sometimes for Beautiful Child.

Silver Springs--because it is a release of Stevie's accumulation of years worth of pent up feelings for Lindsey. Anyone who's ever been in that intense of a relationship can relate to it one way or another.
Maker of Birds--not really because of the lyrics, but because of the way she's singing with such pathos, and how she kind of breaks down toward the end of it. Nightbird--Because of he subject matter: death, grieving, rememberence, rebirth...it's all about "cycles." Bella Donna--"But the woman is so tired, ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" Oh how I can relate. Storms--I don't think much explanation is necessary here. Beautiful Child--It's so "beautiful" is sad.

Landslide -- hearing it on CD, in concert, on DVD....always.
Beautiful Child -- live, especially. Songbird -- The Dance version really gets to me. |

B) I work out by walking a minimum 5 miles a day and work...Anything else you need to know? I agree with Dire Straits' "Brothers In Arms"...Especially the video to the song, The animation of lead on paper is one the best videos I recall EVER seeing.
