Thank for this! I'd always wanted to see the videos for the singles from this album but they are so hard to find. I really like this. Is there one around for Got A Hold On Me?

It's on CM's 1984 concert video. That and LWSUH, and a full concert, with guest appearance by Mick. I only recently got it on DVD, about a month ago, but my DVD burner has crapped out on me. When I finally get a new burner, I'll try to get the DVD into circulation.
BUT, VHS copies are available on eBay, last time I checked.

Not back in Mac, but for Christine McVie fans, 'Love Will Show Us How'

At my recent haircut, my barber told me how excited he was to get to see Fleetwood Mac in concert next week. One person he will not be able to see is Christine McVie.

In 1998, McVie decided she had enough of touring and retired from the music business. In 1984, she ventured outside of Fleetwood Mac and hit the Top 10 with Got a Hold On Me and No. 30 with Love Will Show Us How.

The video for Love Will Show Us How features McVie being a good sport in a video gone wrong directed by '80s B-Movie veteran Paul Bartel.

I do remember that funny video. Always wanted to know whose idea was that. It doesn't look very Christine.

Well it was VERY awkward, and I've often wondered if that was the idea, just to draw attention to her...that the video was so unusual?

And yet in an interview around that time, Stevie says that the video was so typical Christine. I forget who she was talking to but, when asked about Christine,she says something like, "Oh, I like her a lot, and I like her music. She's so funny. You know that new video she has with the dancing girls? I laughed when I saw that because it's so her."

I'll look for the interview. I saw it once on youtube.
