(I do hope you get a separate Birthday present from your Christmas present.) My sister was born on the 27th and forever lamented, that they were one in the same...

I noticed that Jay Cutler is playing very well for the Bears... I hated seeing him leave Denver....and now we hailing a new King.....King Teebow....and sadly Mr. Orton (formerly of the Bears) is in exile on the bench with Mr. Brady Quinn...

Yeah he really seems to be settled into the team now and is playing very well……despite the amount of times he gets sacked

! I got my football crazy stepson tickets for the Superbowl in Dallas so I really hope for him that the Bears make the final. I enjoyed the Jets game, it was very exciting and we’re headed up to Green Bay on Sunday for another tough game I suspect. Another few years living here and I might actually understand the rules!

RE: Jay Cutler

While in Denver, he was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes...(insulin pump and all). I liked the attention he brought to the disease and the news stories covering the care. (My daughter is a type 1. ) She has lived with it for about ten years now...being diagnosed at 13.

When he was first diagnosed, some rookies....as a joke ... threw his glucometer into a swimming pool, thinking it was his cell phone...not a very funny joke...and the press was all over it.

I was sorry to see that Cutler and McDaniels couldn't get along... And McDaniels? He just closed on a house ...in Highlands Ranch.....(south of Denver...) and was fired about two weeks before... Bet that hurt.

But he's gonna get millions, if they pay out his contract...so I am sure he can afford it. IMHO, he was just too young to be a head coach. But I digress....
