Being heartbroken f ucking sucks, especially when you know you shouldn't be and when you feel like an idiot and when you kinda want to crawl in a ball and die.

Also-- my grandmother is fine. She got out of surgery a few hours ago. Turns out, she had Histoplasmosis which is a fungus growth caused by being around soil contaminated by pigeon and bat ****? The woman smoked for 60 years and somehow the giant mass in her lung was from PIGEON SH*T. She's in a lot of pain right now but she's a fighter-- put on makeup before her surgery because "being sick is no reason to look like horse sh*t". I love her.

I stupidly wore cons on what is basically an ice rink, whilst being pulled by the dog The road below mine filled up with snow, which melted and re-froze so there's about 3 inches of ice to just slither on.

Got the kids enrolled at their new school today. They start on Thursday. Yay! But - they have to wear uniforms, which I did not know, so - surprise! Time to spend more money I don't have on school uniforms.

But I appear to have a new job starting soon! Hopefully before Christmas! Fingers crossed, everyone! I don't want to jinx it and do a happy dance, so I will just do a moderately sedate Nathan Fillion groove:

You clever girl! My roads are like sheet ice too, and despite wearing Doc Martens on them I still nearly had my chips multiple times. Me and my friends are considering investing in a sled and a couple of Huskies to take us to Uni lol.
