The rarities should have included “I Want You Back”

Yes and the three tracks from the “This is 40” soundtrack.

I would have liked a few more rarities, including the "soft mix" for "Countdown" and some unreleased material, but this is cool nonetheless

This is 40 Songs
These were not released until 2012 (21st Century Lindsey).

Oh my bad, they could have called the rarities cd something else.😕 |

At least Trouble should be the full length unedited version, not like on the Anthology remaster. Yay!

I would much rather have an expanded or deluxe edition of OOTC (ala those Mac 70s albums deluxes), not with radio remixes like the Tango deluxe, but with rehearsals, demo and alternative versions, etc.

I'll be buying this, it looks very nicely packaged.
Not a good name for it though. '20th Century Lindsey' would be fine for the title of an article on an online music journal, or even a thread here! But it seems too trivial and throwaway to me. |

I guess the good thing about the title is it implies a second release at some point, entitled “21st Century Lindsey!”

Mick probably wanted the full cut of the royalties (joking). There are probably rights issues with it since the I'm Not Me CD is now long out of print even though it was released 12 years ago.

I love this cd. I’m so glad I have it. I think Mick’s solo albums are all great. He really can put a band good band together.

I think I need to buy it, even when the "rarities" CD is not that rare, and I have Law & Order and Out Of The Cradle on CD too (I have Go Insane only on cassette)
The real "rarities" were those first versions of some 2000s songs, those from the Gift Of Screws "demo" album...Weren't they recorded in the 90s, almost all of them? Where's Wear You Down?? I need more Law & Order demos and rarities! |
