Default two questions...

Good day. First time poster/member to this forum. Please excuse me, then, if these topics have already been addressed previously/elsewhere. That being said, I'd appreciate any answers, with regards to the following questions: 1) What is the current state of Fleetwood Mac? (ie., in the studio; just began writing; waiting for Stevie's tour with Rod Stewart to end, then they'll be back in the studio; tour planned in '12, etc.); Has any official statement (not just fan speculation) been released as to what we can anticipate 2) Secondly, and maybe more bewildering; what is the story with the official Fleetwood Mac website? With all due respect,... it sucks!! Their last update- as I'm sure you know- is from late '09. Simply ridiculous!! I get "no* news from that site, it is never updated,... I just find it worthless. Any insight as to it's lack of substance would be appreciated. Thanks so much in advance, and I look forward to insightful activity in this forum...

1) Nothing to report. Mick mentioned something about how they're beginning to think about getting back in the studio, but that probably means very little. Stevie and Lindsey will be focused on their solo albums through the summer, so I wouldn't expect to hear much about FM plans until fall at the earliest.
2) Beats me...

Yeah, this is basically solo time right now probably for the duration of this year. We got a ways to go before seeing any FM action.

Ray, welcome!

No news on Fleetwood Mac. This is something you will have to get used to. When they get together, we'll have news (if we're lucky) about 4 months ahead of time. My guess is that they will record another CD and/or tour again... but not until Stevie and Lindsey release their upcoming solo albums.

The fleetwoodmac.com website has been useless since 2003-2004... when Say You Will came out there was someone behind the scenes doing some really great things for fans. Since that time it has fallen by the wayside.

The Fleetwood Mac official site will lay dormant until the next FM album is done and about to be released. It's simply a promotion tool/commercial for the band.

Regarding the future of the band? It's anyone's guess, really. The men of the band seem to be very much interested in recording another album. Stevie's been hesitant for years, but said just the other day whenever her new album has run it's course, Fleetwood Mac will regroup and they'll see what happens from there. The entire band has expressed their dissatisfaction with Say You Will... so I think they'll do at least one more album. But who knows when that'll actually happen... or if it will at all. Time shall tell... you truly never know with these kids.
