This album is so good, I wish it had received the recognition it deserved. As much as I love B/N, it's light years ahead of it.

The Bob Welch stuff is so incredibly intelligent and his style so antithetical to mainstream pop, even Sentimental Lady (second verse), that his music has maintained its intrigue all these decades later. “Miles Away” might be my all time favorite Fleetwood Mac song.

It's my favorite song on Mystery, that's for sure. What a cooker!

What do you think of the jam at the end of The City?

It’s good—a lot of “Going Down” energy there.
But as a whole song, Miles kills. |
