Default "THE" Song of the 90s

Yeah, I know that if there hardly may be a top song of a year, it's impossible to choose a top song of a decade, it's absurd. But let's play just for fun.

Choose your top song, the favorite, the greatest greatest hit of all songs from the 90s.

Ok, since you are a mac fan, pick 2 songs: a mac(or mac-related, i mean single works) song and a not mac related song.

-mac: Running through the garden
-non mac: humm... I would choose It must have been love by Roxette , since it was a hit in Peru in 1990, but I think actually it is from 1989, I'm not sure.

I can't think of any FM songs, but if I had to choose one song, it'd be either "No Rain" by Blind Mellon, or "December" by Collective Soul.

Smells Like Teen Spirit - ushered in a new generation of music for the 90's - although not a particular favorite of mine

Mac related - I would have to say the re-released of Silver Springs from the Dance, if that counts.

I can never come up with one definitive song for anything.

But, the first non-Mac song that came to my mind for the 90s is REM's "Nightswimming," one of my all-time faves.

For FM, as someone already said, maybe the best thing for them for the 90s was "Silver Springs" from The Dance.

That came off of a great album too. Their last good one imo.

My 90's pick is the album Badmotorfinger by Soundgarden. I can't pick just one song! I think it's one of the definitive albums of that decade.

Non-Mac related....

Duran Duran - Come Undone

Mac related would no doubt be Silver Springs from The Dance--what a way to come back
