Can't limit it to ten. Especially since Out Of The Cradle has 13 by itself (counting the "intro" tracks as part of the tunes they intro).

I agree that it's not easy to do!

I'll bet my list has some that will be unique to me.

September Song - beautiful chords and melodies while keeping the classic quirkiness
I Must Go - wacky and fun but with some brilliant melodies and vocal harmonies
All My Sorrows - again, brilliant vocal harmonies
Turn It On - a great example of his vocal performance taking a relatively bland pop song and turning it into an amazing journey to listen to
Try For The Sun - there is no song that is more "Lindsey"
Down On Rodeo - obvious!
Shut Us Down - the extended version that didn't make it to the album has my favorite Lindsey guitar riff in the solo, but the whole song is great stuff
Love Runs Deeper - both guitar solos are, to me, the most melodic lines he's ever written
Bel Air Rain - unbelievable in its intensity, and the slightly sped up vocals add a sense of urgency unlike any other song of his
On The Wrong Side - lush and beautiful, and the plucked notes at the beginning are so creepy and haunting somehow

I don't know, but Show You How, Time Bomb Town and I'm going to throw I Want You Back in there too. Hey, it is a solo song, just not a Lindsey solo song.

Yet, he didn't write it. It's a cover of a song by Donovan from the late '60s.

I wanted to include "Try for the Sun" on my list, but I didn't because it isn't his song. But I love his version of this....one of my most-played tunes from Under the Skin. I like most of his covers, actually.

If you include Shut Us Down, I had three songs he didn't write on my list. But to me, his covers are so altered and different from the originals that there is no reason to consider them separate from the rest of his body of work.

Like I said, "Try For the Sun" is more Lindsey than any other song he's written.
