Default Your Top 10 Lindsey Songs (if you're primarily a Stevie fan)

I thought it'd provide some interesting perspective (and much needed friendliness) to Lindsey fans to see what are favorites of people who consider themselves primarily Stevie fans. I know as a Stevie fan I'd be very interested in seeing what Lindsey fans found to be their favorites of her tunes as well. Feel free to comment about what you like about each song as well.

Here are my top 10 Lindsey songs, in no particular order.

1. Second Hand News - I love the positive vibe of this tune.
2. Trouble - Very melodic - I love the solo guitar parts.
3. Murrow Turning Over - I love the eclectic, bouncy sound.
4. Miranda - The lyrics are so weird, but I love it. Kinda like Duran Duran's lyrics (another favorite band of mine).
5. My Little Demon - Love the meaning behind the song, and it's great to dance to. I like the quirky guitar.
6. Bleed To Love Her - Another one I love the lyrics to.
7. Go Insane (the original, not live) - 80's goodness. Period.
8. Holiday Road - Fun and Elvis-y.
9. Stephanie - There's emotion all over this simple guitar solo and I love it.
10. I know I'm Not Wrong - Just an all-around fun song.

Hi!

So have you psycho-analyzed my picks yet? Do any of them fall into a catagory of sorts? Or not really.

You need to listen to Seeds You Sow: try End of Time, Illumination, That's the Way Love Goes, Stars are Crazy... It's a really good album. It's lyrically deep, and the songs are so varied. I know you will like it.

Ok, as a huge Stevie fan here is my go at it:

1. Never Going Back Again - Of course! Classic!
2. Go Insane (Live) - Perrrfection. I like insane Lindsey better than sane Lindsey. Sexy.
3. I'm So Afraid (Live) - Knocked me dead live!! Blown absolutely away.
4. Steal Your Heart Away - Beauty
5. Tango In The Night - omg I've been obsessed with this one for a while now, and I can't figure it out, I just can't! I picture him doing a freaking tango with someone and it's wonderful.
6. Say Goodbye - This is full of emotion. Awh baby, you don't have to say goodbye
7. Wrong - From the Limited Lindsey solo catalogue I have.. really enjoy it. and Mr. Rockcock??
8. What's The World Coming To - I agree, Linds.
9. Tusk - So much fun.
10. Bleed To Love Her -This is my all time favourite Lindsey melody, it's just amazing, but I can't choose between The Dance and Say You Will.

Here goes in no particular order:

This is the Time - Love everything about it
Shut us Down - so sweet
I'm so afraid - Blows me away every time
Go Your Own Way - Rocks!!!
The Ledge - Weird but nice
Under the Skin - Love the melody
Slow Dancing - Great dance song in the 80's
Countdown - I don't know why, just a good song
Come - guitar solo's are awesome
Tusk - Bombastic
Tango in the Night - predecessor of Time

But I also like MM, WT, SHN, NGBA, SMAP, NTF, TAFE, WATL, IKINW, CGB, EOTW, Caroline, Trouble, GI.... come to think it, I like a lot more of his stuff than I thought.

I listened and it was really good! Ugh, just everything about that song is perfect. I like in the Dance though when he's kind of looking at Chris while he's singing it. I prefer background vocals on this song. Any version is beautiful though.

I always enjoy and admire Lindsey's solo work, but I never really go back to it. So even though I own all his albums, I don't really "know" his catalogue as well as I should. This is hard!

Not in any particular order

1) Murrow Turning Over in his Grave
2) Bleed to Love Her
3) Miranda (yes, I'm a massive Say You Will apologist.)
4) Love Runs Deeper
5) Peacekeeper
6) Countdown
7) I'm So Afraid
8) Play in the Rain
9) Book of Love
10) Try for the Sun

A Nicks' fans' Buck Tracks. Burning nag champa and wearing my shawls while I type this.....

1. I'm So Afraid - studio or live.. doesn't matter. Love this track.

2. Without A Leg to Stand On - Frozen Love and this track are the highlights of BN.

3. Go Your Own Way. Classic Rock and Roll. Period.

4. You Do or You Don't - my favorite Lindsey solo track. "living in exile.. just gotta let it go" pure music bliss..

5. I Know I'm Not Wrong - Tusk you very much, Lindsey.

6. Red Rover = "You don't belong here.. I guess you never did.."

7. Caroline - underrated gem from Tango. "time recedes with a fatal drop.. dusty fury on the mountain top.."

8. D.W. Suite - "we.. can.. all.. break.. down... forever..." beautiful tribute to Dennis Wilson.. "shadow all your hopes with love.." yes, I'm a dreamer.

*9. It Takes Time - my new.. listen.. rewind.. repeat.. play it again song. *Number nine with a bullet.

10. Go Insane - from my favorite Buckingham solo record.

fun post.

!!!!!!

I forgot all about this song, because I am a terrible person.

Book of Love has officially been booted of my list in DW's favour.

So, so good.

I am glad to see love for Without A Leg To Stand On and Caroline. These are two of my favorites that are definitely underrated!

Also, I like your signature pic!

I guess I won't include any Fleetwood Mac songs except from Say You Will because it was primarily two solo albums pushed together.

1. Holiday Road
2. End of Time
3. Go Insane
4. Trouble
5. Bleed to Love Her
6. Stars Are Crazy
7. Say Goodbye
8. I Want you
9. You do or you don't
10. Steal Your Heart Away ties with Did You Miss Me
