Default Christine McVie live in Chicago 1984

I’m listening to my live show from Chicago. She really did have a solid band. Christine sounds great on every song. I can’t say that about all the live shows that I have. She tends to go off key at times. This show every song is on point.

Her band was awesome. But she was such an experienced player and band member she would have high standards. She's not going to hire scrubs.
1984 was a huge year in music with some of the biggest concerts like Bruce and Madonna and everyone in between. The Pittsburgh Press gave its music review of best concerts that came to Pittsburgh in December of that year. Christine's concert was mentioned as being one of the most sparely attended but was given an honorable mention in the "best concerts of 1984."
My dad was at her show with me and he was not aware who Chris or Stevie were and not into their music. But after the show he told me that Chris's band and show was so much better than Stevie's the year before. Chris's band and concert had focus and delivered the goods. Stevie's show wondered, drifted, and seemed confused. The review of Stevie's 1983 Pittsburgh show said "her band seemed as confused as her." And it turned into a "what ever happened to Stevie game show since she wondered off stage after every song."

Her intonation at the Cleveland show was perfection. I was in awe of how good the show was. And it was levels above Stevie or Lindsey's shows.

She was totally about the music.

It helps if you don't do an 8ball before hitting the stage!

Something tells me she did during my show, too!

Hey now, a bump here and there can enhance one's experience!
