The Phillies lost the World Series in game 3. Andy Pettitte was on the ropes, and Shane Victorino was swinging at "junk" that wasn't even reaching home plate. That allowed Pettitte to get by with just three runs in that inning, when it could've been at least five.

Cole Hamels was awesome early in game 3. He was pitching very well, until the home plate ump called an obvious strike a ball. Cole Hamels lost his concentration, and many runs were scored.

The Phillies will be back next year, they have the money, and the smarts to get the players they need. In fact if it wasn't for the Phillies GM, the Phillies would've never made the postseason this year. The bullpen was made with matchsticks. I love this team for the fact it even made the World Series. They will win it again.

Well, they won't have the Dodgers to contend with after the ownership McCourts messy divorce and the sale of the team. Dodger stadium renovations have been postponed. and it's unlikely the will be chasing free agents.
