I Know I'm Not Wrong - Liddy Buck
I was listening to the instrumental of "I Know I'm Not Wrong" on the Remasters and all of the sudden I found the tune of "Liddy Buck" by John Stewart going along to it in my head. I had no idea before how close it was. Guess JS REALLY REALLY wanted to sound like LB!

? I'd have to listen to that one again.
I do remember one of the demo's sounding just like John Stewart's "Running in the Shadows", but that's because LB actually plays on that song. |

Hey! So Liddy Buck is a Stewart song?! I had no idea that is where fans got the nickname for Lindsey! I just figured fans had made it up themselves! Forgive me, I'm not familiar with Stewart's catalog. Is it actually about Lindsey, or did fans just decide it would be a cool nickname for him based on the song title and his association with Stewart? I'm assuming it's an actual song about Lindsey...I can't see what else Liddy Buck could be.

EveryHour....
The song was written in response to Lindsey's song on Law and Order called Johnny Stew. Here are the lyrics.
You gotta keep running 'cause you can't go back Everybody's looking for a home You know you had it all but it had to fall When you said that you'd go it alone You'd go it alone Neither love nor money gonna keep you away You can't stop the rolling of a stone Take that, leave that, running on the same track It's hard you know, hmmmmmm When you go it alone A whole lotta luck to you, Liddy Buck A whole lotta luck to you, Liddy Buck When you go it alone And it's been too long It's gone too far Go tear down the sky for a star A whole lotta luck to you, Liddy Buck A whole lotta luck to you, Liddy Buck A whole lotta luck to you, Liddy Buck You gotta keep running 'cause you can't go back Everybody's looking for a home You know you had it all but it had to fall When you said that you'd go it alone You'd go it alone And it's been too long It's gone too far Go tear down the sky for a star A whole lotta luck to you, Liddy Buck A whole lotta luck to you, Liddy Buck And it's been too long It's gone too far Go tear down the sky for a star A whole lotta luck to you, Liddy Buck A whole lotta luck to you, Liddy Buck A whole lotta luck to you, Liddy Buck

We think we got the connection...John admired Lindsey!!!
Good friends...as young Lindsey plays with John on stage... grinning like crazy with his family in the audience!!! (*0*)

I listened to Liddy Buck last night, and it does sound like another IKINW-demo!

It's almost incredible how this song could have been build out of a IKINW demo.
Even the crispy guitarparts sound like Lindsey all the way.
