Fat Sams Dundee Scotland 13th of May 2010
Yes, doodyhead - he looks fine - also with the beard.
From Dundee: Albatross: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VTON5ipUqNI Oh Well: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R8i9PbXF9wc By the way there are many clips on Youtube from the gig at Renfrew Ferry, Glasgow - but I don't think the quality is very good. There is a lot of interesting, but hardly audioble talking between numbers, though. Ms Moose |

Went to the show down here in Falmouth at the Princess Pavillion last night. First time I have seen Greeny live since a Splinter Group tour they shared with John Mayall several years ago. What a difference ! Of course I have seen all the Youtube clips which looked good but that is nothing like seeing and hearing it for oneself live. Back in the Splinter Group days Peter looked like he was lacking confidence and Nigel Watson, although well meaning, tended to dominate the group too much. Now though Peter looks and sounds like he is really enjoying himself. Starting off with a strong "Oh Pretty Woman" the set continued in this vein throughout. Of course the old Fleetwood Mac numbers got the greatest reception and Peter's tone on "Albatross" was a delight. Pleasant surprises were "A Rainy Night In Georgia", so smooth, and the first encore "Sitting In The Rain" with just Peter and Mike Dodd on stage. Well done to Mike (and the rest of the band) for coaxing the best out of Peter. While he can never be the Peter Green I saw over 40 years ago in Fleetwood Mac (the 4 piece) the present day Greeny is still smokin' !!!
