String Help

I'm getting the feeling it is time to replace my nylon strings. Although I don't know which kind to buy. The only thing I really know is that nylon strings are classed by tension.

For me the strings I have on right now are not "tight" enough, they are almost too loose for me. I want something tight with a lot of tension that is close to the board.

Anyone have any suggestions on what to look for?

String tension won't necessarily bring them closer to the fret board. If you find that they are too distant now, you may need a reset. Having said that, I have no idea what to recommend. I just got a nylon-string recently and I don't know what gauge strings is on it. When you decide what you're getting, let me know.

The strings aren't really that high off...I just want some reccomendations.

For the gauges...what is the scale go from - highest - Lowest?
