Arrow DISCUSSION: Danny's songs from Future Games

Apologies ahead of time for "cluttering" up the forum here.

Anywho, here's the final discussion thread on Future Games.

Danny's songs up for discussion...
1. Woman of 1000 Years
2. Sands of Time
3. Sometimes
4. What a Shame

"What a Shame" counts as collaboration, but Danny's contributions can certainly be discussed here.

Love all his songs here, though "Woman" and "Sometimes" are my favs. For the life of me I don't know why the three singers didn't harmonize on parts of "Woman"--it would have sounded great!

Sometimes sounds like a hit to me.

"Sands of Time", is Danny's best song from this album. This song, along with Welch's "Future Games" put FM in the category of dabbling with British prog rock. I love this album, on a level many post 1975 fans don't understand.

Sands of Time is great. A very fine album, the title track is my favorite Bob Welch song. Indeed, I value this higher than any BN-era album. Bare Trees is even better. Why does not this era get more recognition? Let us have the cd re-issues.

I really love 'Woman Of 1000 Years.' It and 'Sands Of Time' have been favorites for years. 'Sometimes' is just okay.
