Well done, you, and reminded me that I also gave up in 2002. But in the August ...Sounds silly now, but I got fed-up of spending part of my lunch hour queueing for cigarettes. I went home that evening and said to my husband if he wanted another cigarette he would have to queue himself..... So we gave up there and then. I never really fancied another cigarette, ever. |

Well...
considering I had surgery just 24 hours ago, I am feeling okay. I do wonder how much better I would feel had I not an allergy to the local anesthetic and antiarrhythmic lidocaine? The surgeon just did the operation without any numbing agent, but she was a pro and I feel very good, though sore.
Starting college in 3 weeks, so July is turning into an interesting month.

I've been pondering on this during the last week.....
In a few months our world leaders may be mostly female It's true. Theresa May and Andrea Leadsom are both currently running for the Tory leadership, while Angela Eagle is expected to announce a leadership challenge for the Labour party. She resigned on Monday as shadow business secretary, telling Corbyn: “We need a leader who can unite the party.„ Meanwhile, in Scotland, Nicola Sturgeon is the current first minister following reelection of an SNP government in May and Ruth Davidson is leader of the Conservatives, while Northern Irish first minister Arlene Foster was elected in January of this year. Looking further afield from the UK, Hillary Clinton will run against Donald Trump until November for the United States presidency, while Angela Merkel was reelected in September 2013 as chancellor, for a term which lasts until 2017. In Europe, Denmark and Norway have women prime ministers, while Malta, Lithuania and Croatia have presidents who are women. Things could be looking up. http://indy100.independent.co.uk/art...le--Wk58J8mzSb |

Going for Pharmacy Technician...and will use that and possibly start towards RN/Nursing. My body cannot tolerate the rigors of manufacturing anymore.
Right now I am dealing with major pain from my surgery...my laparoscopic cholecystectomy was performed without any numbing agent since I am allergic to the category of meds that are commonly used (When I had surgery to remove an infection from my right thumb in Dec.2015 it was performed without any numbing, just sterilize that area and start cutting - not a lot of fun). I still do not remember talking to the blonde nurse that my wife Alisa and my sister Lesa said I spoke to in post-op...

Sad but still very proud. It was just one step too far, especially without their best player in this tournament- Aaron Ramsey. Their performance yesterday was probably their worst of the tournament. Never mind. Well done!
