Default Meet And Greet in Franklin

Just wondering if anyone has any info about the meet and greet in Franklin.
Is it before or after the show? Theater page says before, but we are suppose to receive info the week of show.

Onbiously if you haven't heard from the venue by now you should give them a call - soon. The ones i went to were both after the concert. I don't believe he's done any pre-concert at all.

You both are going to have a great time I'm sure Please report back and tell us how the concert was - and what you talked about!

I was trying to avoid calling, but I did. The box office representative didn't know. He is going to call back. When I obtain an answer, I shall let you know!

Thank you! I thought that the fact that the site said BEFORE was a little strange... but then I figured that maybe Linds just wanted to get a early start to Atlanta. I'm hoping it's after though. Meeting him after seeing him put on a show made me so much more awestruck and excited!

Yes, it will be after the show. The venue called back, then sent an email confirmation. I can't wait!

I don't want to sound like a freak or stalker, but I have waited six years to give him a CD! Needless to say, fifteen to meet the man. I have given Wally, Neale, and some guys from the road crew a CD at each show. Now, I can give Mr. Buckingham himself one!!!

Ryan, which songs did you put on there? Is it a mix of Lindsey covers and your originals? I hope you included Rock Away Blind

Actually, it is a four track cd of all original material. I think that will be plenty, since demos mainly consist of only two or three songs.

I gave Neale Heywood a Lindsey homage cd during "Under the Skin." I was thinking about making a DVD with "Rock Away Blind" on there, since I do not have any other Youtube videos left on my computer to convert to DVD. I would love for him to see my homage videos!

As for the audio, my studio crashed so I do not have any Lindsey covers on cd.

That's a shame not having the covers on CD I do hope Neale shared the one you gave him with Lindsey as I'm sure he'd be flattered Maybe I imagined it, but didn't his Youtube channel actually subscrinbe to you at one time ( maybe still does ). Granted, he doesn't seem to be too personally involved with his own social media, but who knows Maybe he's aware of you. I think that's great though, that you're giving him your original stuff. Good luck!! I can't wait to hear how it goes!

I know, since my studio recently crashed! I did see Neale again in Asheville, NC and he mentioned the cd to me, without my asking. He said he let Lindsey hear a little. Who knows??? I hope he is aware!

I used to have a demo with Lindsey's covers: Say Goodbye, Red Rover, Never Going Back Again, and Big Love (I think). Since I can't stand hearing myself, I must have given it to someone...

I think he may appreciate originals, since he is deeply into the creative process. I am going to include my Youtube link, just in case...

oh i think you definitely need to give him your originals, no question about that. also think Lisa Dewey - you never know!

we are just selfish in wanting him to also hear your version of RAB.

That is true, you don't! I can dream!

Thank you very much! I am glad you enjoy my version! If I had the audio, I would have included it on the cd. "Oh Well!"

I think it's good to give him original material, Ryan. I bet he's aware of your awesome tributes/covers. Take a chance, and inspire him with your own compositions!

I thought there were legal issues that made artists wary of accepting unsolicited original material.... Potential lawsuits from people claiming the artist took their idea and didn't give them credit. Didn't that happen to Stevie, in fact?

I guess it doesn't hurt to try.... Do you want him to record your songs or something?
