Default What concert are you going to see in 2005?

I am curious to see what shows my fellow Ledgies are going to. I am not seeing the Stevie/Don concert this year due to the inflated ticket price but I am going to see Def Leppard in June and tickets go on sale shortly for Journey so those are my two shows so far for this year.

Definite: Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers at the Sleep Train Ampitheater. Just waiting for the tix to go on sale. Have been a fan since I was eight years old but have only been to one of his concerts.

Possible: Mellencamp and Fogerty. I love John Fogerty but I don't think I could bring myself to buy a ticket with Mellencamp's name on it. I can't stand him.

I already saw Garbage, and I'm going to see Tom Petty and Juliette and the Licks. That's about it, unless Blondie tours this summer and Franz Ferdinand tours to support their new album in late summer/fall. I'm not a Henley fan at all, he bugs the **** out of me, so I won't be seeing him with Stevie.

After spending an obscene amount on four Stevie shows, I'm not sure if I'll see her with Henley. He's an ass. Period.

I might go to Tom Petty since he always puts on a great show, and Judas Priest w/ Queensryche.

I also got Pat Benetar tickets, but those were free.

Tom Petty for sure. Stevie and Don if I can come up with enough money to get to and stay in Chicago. I'd like to see the Rolling Stones, but there ticket prices are too high.

Tickets are already on sale.

I've already seen the Crue and Stevie and I've got a ticket to Tom's show at the Greek Theatre. I might go to Ozzfest too.

definite: Brian Wilson in Amsterdam. Possible: (very likely) Beth Hart & AJ Croce in Groningen. Maybe a festival, I don't know.

Seen Lou Reed already, but I guess I won't be attending any other big concerts this year. Would've wanted to see New Order, but I guess I'll have to be wiser with my money from now on.

The only big shows I have planned this far in advance are Neil Diamond in August and Lollapalooza here, at Grant Park, this summer.

Forgot- also Oasis at UIC Pavilion next month.
