Scream at me and I will disappear. I probably would hate Law and Order now. I got it at the height of my fandom. They could do no wrong, THEN. It's a quirky, freaky deaky album, that's my favorite LB solo album. And you know, by comparison, I've never really been into Go Insane, because I had wandered away from the band for a few years, when it came out. So I didn't give it the chance it deserved.

Out of the Cradle is as polished but the music and the performances are inspired and warm. |

Go Insane is my favorite album of his. Law and Order and Go Insane are actually examples of him doing things in a non typical fashion. He ventures into weird and different territories as far as pop/rock genre is concerned.
Out of the Cradle is a beautiful album. I just think he was trying to be more commercial with some of the songs and it was too late at that point for commerce.

But instead he showcased his weirdness. god I love Law and Order. -------- I'm glad I'm not the only one who didn't get Go Insane. I remember that I only gave it a few listens when I got it, and didn't get into it, and just put it away.

[QUOTE=HomerMcvie;1276391]It was too late. Can you imagine if he'd released OOTC in 1981? His solo career might have been MUCH larger.
I remember the OOTC CD wrapper has a sticker that says "The architect of the Fleetwood Mac sound". Believe me, in 1992 you could already hear (young) guys asking "Fleetwood Mac? Who?"

I would almost as soon hear BTM or Time, as much as Tango.
I like Tango okay, but it sounds FAR more dated than say, The White Album.

SYW forces a bowel movement.
I'd rather listen to a bowel movement than Silver Girl. OR COME!
