Homer is so sensitive to Lindsey's rock out performances vocally and with guitar. I don't get it. So if I SCREAM AT YOU, YOU WILL DISAPPEAR?!!!!??

You dont like punk music but like Law and Order? Got it. Ok. Everyone thought it was cool when Stevie screamed at the end of Rhiannon but Lindsey cant do it? Ok Got it!
Apparently, NTF is only for hardcore fans. I like the album version okay. As John wrote, ah ah ah ah OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WAHHHHH was what drove my friends away from the Mirage video.

Scream at me and I will disappear.

I probably would hate Law and Order now. I got it at the height of my fandom. They could do no wrong, THEN. It's a quirky, freaky deaky album, that's my favorite LB solo album. And you know, by comparison, I've never really been into Go Insane, because I had wandered away from the band for a few years, when it came out. So I didn't give it the chance it deserved.

I never warmed up to Go Insane (though I’ve always known it was very well done). Compared to Law and Order and Mirage it seemed (seems) humorless and slick—its insistent professionalism points to what would be the calculated moments on Tango.

Out of the Cradle is as polished but the music and the performances are inspired and warm.

Go Insane is my favorite album of his. Law and Order and Go Insane are actually examples of him doing things in a non typical fashion. He ventures into weird and different territories as far as pop/rock genre is concerned.

Out of the Cradle is a beautiful album. I just think he was trying to be more commercial with some of the songs and it was too late at that point for commerce.

It was too late. Can you imagine if he'd released OOTC in 1981? His solo career might have been MUCH larger.

But instead he showcased his weirdness. god I love Law and Order.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who didn't get Go Insane. I remember that I only gave it a few listens when I got it, and didn't get into it, and just put it away.

I remember the OOTC CD wrapper has a sticker that says "The architect of the Fleetwood Mac sound". Believe me, in 1992 you could already hear (young) guys asking "Fleetwood Mac? Who?"

Oh yeah. When I started college(in an audio program), someone asked me what drummers I liked. I mentioned Mick, and basically got laughed at. I learned immediately that FM was NOT COOL, and I needed to hide my fandom. That's when I drifted away from FM for a few years. Until I no longer cared what others thought.

The White Album throbs.
Rumours sparks.
Tusk thumps.
L&O squeaks.
Mirage chimes.
Go Insane clicks.
Tango shimmers.
Cradle soars.

I would almost as soon hear BTM or Time, as much as Tango.

I like Tango okay, but it sounds FAR more dated than say, The White Album.

I'd rather listen to a bowel movement than Silver Girl.

More appropriately:

The White Album sparkles
Rumours flies
Tusk tanks
Law and Order is arresting
Mirage fades
Go Insane does
Tango waltzes
Cradle rocks

I swore you were of the male gender. I'm John. My brain is now updating to change all memories thinking you were a guy (boy). etc.... to female.
