The new MJ album MICHAEL and the new R. Kelly album Love Letter.

You are not alone.

Imagine paying $1000 to hear "Don't Dream It's Over" instead of "Go Your Own Way"

Fleetwood Mac helped me through a time of heartbreak. 12 years later, they broke my heart.

but my issue is due to health issues, I keep hearing the Fleetwood Mac "Chirping Crickets" intro tape in my head on a constant basis.

Just have learned to kind of "tune it out" as best I can. Biggest problem is trying to hear somebody talk in a crowded room with lots of background ambient noise. No, I've never used in-ear monitors...always floor wedges & side fills.

Gingko? Hmmm...cool, thanks for the tip. Wonder if it has to do with it's "blood thinning" properties? Maybe will help with my memory, too!

I know that Lipoflavonoids are supposed to ease Tinnitus, but can't afford the extra $30-50 a month for those...Gingko's a whole lot cheaper.

A couple of guys in one of the bands I play with have custom earplugs...supposedly only cuts certain frequencies, but the bass player says they really affect how he hears his bass and the "mix" of the band (and I can attest to that, when he wears them, he plays about twice the volume as when he doesn't.)

I read an interview with some live sound engineer regarding the in-ear monitors. He said that he would set up an "audience mic" to mix in the monitors so the artist wouldn't feel like they were singing in a shoe box (which is what I've heard is the downside of those in-ear monitor systems)...it would open up the sound and feel more "live".

Finally got the new album from one of my fav little Indie bands, Brookville. This album especially reminds me of '75-'77 Fleetwood Mac: it's breezy California pop.

Here is a song from Brookville's previous album:

I just really love that little band. It's the perfect evening chill music for me

Aimee Mann is such an under-rated artists. All her albums are superb and so is her stuff with 'Til Tuesday. This may be my favourite Aimee tune:
