Welll, I don't really know them all, but More Than a Feeling is one of my fave songs by an Arena band...who are they, anyway, besides Mac?
Boston Journey ? I'm not really sure who all is considered to be the Arena bands.

I hate all of those bands. Heh. I do enjoy the crazy arena rock Kinks, though. That was fun. And, I dunno if Petty's considered arena rock or not.

I love Journey. I can't help it. I also like Foreigner and Styx.

I'm not a big fan of any of these bands now, but I'll admit that the first record I ever bought (20+ years ago) was a Journey record. I think it was Escape.

Arena rock bands. blech. And no, Petty's not considered arena rock. Not by me, anyway. He's good.

Journey!
I love Journey! Don't care for the other bands that much. Maybe a song or two here and there.

I don't "HATE" Arena Rock bands, I just dislike 'em a lot!
Well, it depends on what ERA of those bands... I love the pre-Steve Perry Journey...couldn't stand 'em after he joined (other than "Don't Stop Believin'") I love the first four Foreigner albums, but then they kinda dropped off a cliff quality wise. Styx, I just never have had time for, but I heard their recent live cover of the Beatles' "I Am The Walrus" and was pretty impressed. Boston?!?! Blech! Although, as a guitar player, I'm VERY glad that Tom Scholz tinkered with effects & such in his garage like he did. So, as an inventor, I like HIM, the band, to me, sucks. .38 Special...hmmmm, if these guys are considered "Arena Rock", what about: Lynyrd Skynyrd? Molly Hatchet? Blackfoot? Doobie Bros? Sanford-Townsend Band? Do you consider THEM Arena Rock bands?

Wished I saw this post earlier...
Just about all the bands listed were in my Mother's cd collection (Excluding Journey, Styx & .38 Special), Especially Foreigner, Who she literally played the **** outta on 24/7 basis back when I was just a punky 7-to-9 year kid...God bless my Mom, her music collection is making me nostalgic
