Do we have any update on new Bob Weston album?

According to the bobweston.co.uk site, Bob was supposedly releasing a new album "later 2008". Well last time I checked it was 2009...

Like many "official" websites these days, it remains out of date and irrelevant (anyone seen Bob Brunning's website recently - now there is an example of out of date).

Has anyone heard anything about this album or when we might expect it to be released?

Ok in answer to my own question, I emailed the Bob Weston site, and eventually received a reply from Steve Fairhead. That name is really familiar but I can't place it. Anyone?

"Er, no. As is often the case, there have been some delays. I'll endeavour to
keep you informed."

Steve runs the site. He used to post here some times and I think he helped Marty out in filling out the information for some of Bob's albums.

I knew the name rang a bell somewhere. Perhaps he used to post back in the days when I did originally around '98 and '99 or so. That would have been when the last Bob Weston album came out (which I bought through the Penguin). Or perhaps he used to post on the usenet newsgroup...

Either way, shall sit and wait a bit longer for this new album. We need a new FM related album, I can't keep playing 26 Letters, 12 Notes and Blue Again forever...
