And their marriage seems to be doing well. He posted something on Twitter a few weeks back about being out on the town with his wife!

"That is how songs are written, stories are told, rumours are started."
Come on people, if they were having an affair (which is highly unlikely) I really doubt they would do anything to publisize it. Unless of course Dave and his wife have an "open" marriage and we're just in the dark about the whole thing .

I know.. there's something about a kiss from what I heard, and it sorta sounds like a confession?

Sometimes you look at a picture and think the impossible. Like how in the hell Mary Torrey (I think is her name) is standing sideways on one platform? Was she in mid-fall? Because most people couldn't do that without falling on their ass.

He seems to be very busy, one week recording - one week somewhere else. I just hope Dave and family get to tag along.

I thought Stevie, um, "met" Dave at a party in the 80s. If you know what I mean.

I thought the song was talking about that

I don't think there's anything 'going on' between them at all, at this point. But what's slightly strange is that the lyric to 'Stevie Baby' says something about 'all it took was just one kiss to show me what I'd missed', which suggests it can't really be about their first hook-up in the 80s, because he can't have missed her when he'd only just met her?

By the way, that story about when Dave and Stevie 'met' in the 80s is kinda, um ... wild. Dave told it in his songwriting book (about DCAHNM). He says he asked Stevie at the time the book came out if it was OK to tell it, and apparently she said yeh, go ahead.

Yeah it is that lyric that made me wonder. "What I have missed." That doesn't sound like something that happened in the 80's. But then again maybe it means since he hadn't kissed her before and really wanted to find out what it was like, hence, 'what he was missing out on,'

And I had no idea they hooked up in the 80's. Learn something new everyday!
